Mary Doherty of Clifton (formerly of Hitchin) 2 February 1928 – 15 December 2014
Mary passed away on 15 December 2014, a year and a week after the death of her beloved grandson John-James. Mary has gone to join him in heaven. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, Margaret, Bernadette and Shaun.
Mary will be received into St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shefford, Bedfordshire on Wednesday 7th January 2015 at 6.45pm. Her funeral will take place at at 11am on Thursday 8 January 2015. Mary will be buried at Hitchin Cemetery, St. John’s Road immediately following the Requiem Mass.

The care and support of Sue Ryder nurses allowed Mary to spend her final days at home.
