Mary Doherty

Mary Doherty of Clifton (formerly of Hitchin) 2 February 1928 – 15 December 2014

Mary passed away on 15 December 2014, a year and a week after the death of her beloved grandson John-James. Mary has gone  to join him in heaven. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, Margaret, Bernadette and Shaun.

Mary will be received into St. Francis  of  Assisi Catholic Church in Shefford, Bedfordshire  on Wednesday 7th January 2015 at 6.45pm. Her  funeral will take place at  at 11am on Thursday 8 January 2015. Mary will be buried at Hitchin Cemetery, St. John’s Road immediately following the Requiem Mass.

Immediate family flowers only please.

The care and support of Sue Ryder nurses allowed Mary to spend her final days at home. If you wish to make a donation in Mary’s memory, please donate to the Sue Ryder Foundation by going direct to their website www.sueryder.org or if you prefer there will  be an opportunity to make a donation at the funeral.

Jennifer Regan

Jennifer passed away on the 30th October 2014 aged 54 years.

She leaves behind her two daughters Ruth & Ruby. Jennifers funeral will take place at 12pm on Friday 21st November 2014 at The Vale Crematorium, Luton, followed by a reception at Offley Recreation Centre: Kings Walden Rd, Offley, Hitchin, Hertfordshire SG5 3EA from 1pm

Mrs. Dorothy Maud

Dorothy aged 87 years passed away on the 7^th September 2014.

She was a much loved wife, mother. grandmother, sister and auntie.

 She will be greatly missed. Dorothy’s funeral will be held  on Thursday 18^th September 2014 @ 3.15pm.

Dorothy’s family wish it to be known that Dorothy wanted her funeral to be in keeping with the way she lived her life. She did not want people to waste money or make a big fuss. Accordingly the family want it known you do not have to do anything.  If regardless of this you still want to show your sign of respect then there is a number of ways you can achieve this;

Simply attend the funeral if you are able to

Denis Blaney

Denis sadly passed away on 3^rd June 2014, aged 57 years. Denis leaves behind his loving mother Mary and beautiful wife Tania. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His funeral will take place at Harwood Park  Crematorium,  Stevenage on Wednesday 18^th June at 11am. Guests are invited to join the family  afterwards at CIU club, Old Town Stevenage.

Donations to Macmillan Cancer Support in preference to flowers, please. There will be a collection box at the service in Harwood Park.

Violet Causebrook

Violet died aged 92 years. Pictured here in her youth, she was a much loved mother to Russell and Mitchell.
